Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is responsible for seeking out and identifying new opportunities that will assist in the creative and financial growth of the company. The Business Development Manager will work closely with the General Manager and management team in developing the growth strategy to proactively target the most advantageous client partners. Success will be measured through diversified new client partnerships and achieving defined revenue goals.

Identify volume digital video and content targets that are driven by client, market and business insights and needs.
Create and customize go-to-market strategies for targeted clients and segments. Support the launch of new marketing content programs and processes at the initial point of customer interface.
Play a strategic role in developing category, channel, customer and vertical marketplace insights for optimum client targeting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing market penetration by actively prospecting and pursuing new business development.

Skills & Qualifications:
4+ years of business development/marketing experience in creative services industry.
Proactively identify new prospects and establish client engagement.
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales objectives and goals.
Develops sell-through presentations and proposals to target clients.
Team player with strong communication, writing, listening and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Must have superior work ethic and ability to work independently as well with a team.
Understanding of advertising, marketing, digital and content industry.
Ability to use personal effectiveness to link relationships, processes, and business methodologies with revenue-producing activities
Ability to set expectations, manage internal and external boundaries and build alignment at varying management levels/client interface.
Technically proficient in marketing and business development tools and MS Office. Salesforce and Avention OneSource platform a plus.
