This week, we'd like to introduce one of the newest members to the Viewpoint team, Michelle! Michelle is one of our Executive Producers who keeps her plate chock full of extra creative pursuits including her own podcast and rehearsing with a band!

Describe your job here at Viewpoint.
I’m an EP with Viewpoint. I am the front line to the business and a liaison between potential/current clients and our internal creative teams. It's my responsibility to forge these relationships and to uncover qualified opportunities to work together, that will not only be rewarding to Viewpoint creatively, but also will contribute to the bottom line.

You’re one of the newest members to the team! What made you decide to pursue a career with Viewpoint?
I wanted to join a mid-size agency where I could utilize my 20 years of sales, marketing and creative experience across a variety of industries and be a contributing team member to overall company growth initiatives, above and beyond simply doing new client acquisition. Viewpoint’s desire to shift the company’s marketing approach, to grow the brand direct client base and the culture was a great match.

In your past experiences, you've been on both the new business development and the creative side of the business, how does that knowledge benefit you as an Executive Producer?
I’ve worked in many different industries, including business operations consulting, healthcare insurance, pharmaceuticals, digital talent recruitment, digital application development, music production for film and television, and video production (similar to Viewpoint). Having worked with companies both at the enterprise-level as well as within smaller creative agencies and studios, I have the unique advantage of understanding the structure and language of different industries and their common pain points. This combination of insider experience and knowledge gives me an edge up when developing brand new client business.

What do you like to do when you’re not at work?
I like working on my podcast and other creative pursuits, including a new band I’m rehearsing with. I also like to work out and enjoy wine and apps with my friends.

Name three of the coolest things inside your home.
My recording studio, a variety of Feng Shui talismans, and a Billboard Songwriting Award plaque.

If you could choose to live anywhere for a year, where would it be?
In a multi-million dollar house off Mulholland Drive with a huge view of the canyon.

What’s your favorite day of the week? Why?
I don’t really have one, but if I have to choose, it would be Friday, because people tend to be less cranky.

If you could become anyone else for one day, who would you like to be?
Prince. I’d love to know what he’s doing over there, in the other plane of existence.
